Made of mahogany and pine in late-19th-century England, this is a pretty little apothecary, or bank of drawers, that can serve as a delightful side table or lamp table. It's 39-1/2 inches wide, circa 1870.

A charming late-19th-century painted mahogany bank of drawers from England. There are 14 drawers in all, eight over six. And here's a piece whose size (28 inches wide) makes it workable for small or large spaces. The stand is new; everything else is circa 1880.
Georgian Bank of Drawers / Apothecary
Built in England at the dawn of the 19th century, this 43-inch-wide apothecary, or bank of drawers, will be a knockout in someone's country house. There are three levels of four drawers at the bottom. The drawers on the top three levels come in mixed sizes for a striking asymmetrical look.
